IMF Recommends And New Sales Tax Hike In Japan

The International Monetary Fund said Thursday that Japan has to raise sales tax again to overcome its public debt burden. This came after the Japanese government raised sales tax from 5% to 8% in April 2014, and policy makers are still discussing a new hike to 10% to be seen in 2015.
