Last Friday the Dow Jones Index of shares dropped 0.4 percent and the Standard Poor’s Index decreased 0.3 percent. In addition Friday data showed that U.S. gross domestic product rebounded in the second quarter, expanding at a 4 percent annualized rate after tumbling 2.1 percent from January through March.
