Japan's Merchandise Trade Balance Deficit Widened On Imports

Japanese economy recoded annual merchandise trade balance deficit during December's reading, where energy shipments and weakness in the yen boosted the nation's imports. Japan's Merchandise trade balance total fell more-than-estimated in December, where the reading reached -1302.21 billion yen, from a previous revised reading of -1294.1 billion yen from -1292.9
