France Expands 0.5% In 2Q, Annual GDP Revised Up At 0.4%

The French economy advanced in the second quarter of 2013 buoyed by the sharp increase in exports, national statistics office (INSEE) said Friday. France's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was confirmed at 0.5 percent expansion in the second quarter, as expected, from 0.2 percent contraction in the first quarter of 2013.
